Robert Dee - Director
Robert Dee is an award-winning writer and director with over twenty years’ experience in media production. His short films — The Devil’s Harvest, The Fire Sermon, and Foreclosure — have screened internationally and received high praise from both critics and fellow filmmakers.
Robert’s screenwriting has earned commendations from Working Title, the BBC, Industrial Scripts, Coverfly, and other industry professionals.
He holds a Master’s in Filmmaking and has lectured and led workshops extensively on both filmmaking and horror. He also led the undergraduate programme at the renowned film school Raindance.
In addition, Robert has created work for brands including Vice, the Dutch National Ballet, Canon, Marriott, Barclays, the National Gallery, Hackney Museum, and the Brighton Festival.
Laura Gregory - Producer
Laura is an award-winning and NFA nominated producer and filmmaker. She has produced multiple award winning short films under her production company, CodeSpirit Productions. She has had her work distributed internationally at film festivals and on distribution platforms such as Amazon Prime.
Alongside her own slate of films, she recently helped produce NFA nominated feature horror film, Wolf Garden, and produced Robert Dee’s latest short film, Foreclosure. She also was a key Head of Department on the 8-part TV series, Testament, which was broadcasted in America and distributed around the world via Angel Studios.
She is currently in development with a horror thriller under her production company, El Diablo, and has already started principal photography on Robert Dee’s debut feature, Genesis.
Jonathan Nicol - Cinematographer
Jonathan is an in-demand cinematographer who has worked on numerous campaigns, pop promos, and films including Louis Theroux, The Ghosts of Borley Rectory, On the Line, Aurora, Ms Banks, Gym Shark and others.
He has a strong working relationship with both Kenny McCracken and Robert Dee, havening worked with both extensively in the past. Jonathan drives the visual look of the film, combining a painterly aesthetic with a stong sense of the uncanny.
Emese Csoma - SFX Artist & MUA
Emese is a talented SFX and Make-Up artist who has worked regularly with Robert Dee in the past. In addition to her film work she has worked on multiple photo shoots, fashion shows, make up brand embassador, and is one of the lead Make-Up artists for the Glyndebourne Opera, repsonsible for creating and overseeing the work of multiple MUAs for their summer season productions.
Gwenifer Raymond - Composer
When it comes to musicianship, Gwenifer is ‘a profound talent’ (The Guardian). She is a multi-instrumentalist who has released several albums internationally. With a deep interest in historical forms of music, particularly American Primitivism via the Delta and Appalachia, her style perfectly matches the ‘tombstone preacher’ vibe of Genesis. In addition to researching early devotional music for the score, she has composed the music for a key song, Till Kingdom Come, which features in the film. She also has a PhD in Astrophysics. A talented allrounder.
Kenny McCracken - Cinematographer
Kenny has worked for over a decade as a cinematographer and photographer, working extensively in fiction, music videos and photographic portraiture. He has directed a number of videos for Aurora, Tourists, Abi Wade, IYES, Girl Scout, and Jack Watts. His photographic subjects have included Steve Coogan, Claudia Winkleman, Ant Middleton, Ray Winstone, Rag N Bone Man, and many others.
Matt Wilkinson - Sound
Matt is a prolific and much sought after sound recordist. He has worked on multiple features, shorts, and brand films. TV work he has worked on include BBC’s Doctors, Coronation Street, River City, and Doctor Who and the mini series, Lost in London.
Bailey Graham - Illustrator
Bailey is an accomplished sculpture, illustrator, and film professional (working for Raindance Festival). In addition to having thousands of followers on social media, her work has featured in the London Illustration Fair and the London Design Festival. Bailey designs the graphic elements for the protagonist, Lily, in Genesis and her finely balanced mix of the homely and the macabre perfectly fits the tone of the film.
